How to install EasyMon!
Installing EasyMon is easy! Just download the installer (EasyMonSetup.exe) and execute it by doubleclicking on the file.
When the installer is finished, it will ask you if you want to launch EasyMon.
Leave the checkbox checked and press Finish.

When you first run EasyMon, you will see a wizard that will guide you through the setup of EasyMon.
By default you can click Start on the first page of the wizard, followed by next on the following pages.
At the last page you click Finish.
If you want to make changes to the default settings of EasyMon you can do this in the following pages of the wizard:
- Automatic Startup: EasyMon is intended to run in the background and should be started when Windows starts.
It is recommended to choose "Yes". To avoid EasyMon to startup automatically, choose "No".
You still can change this setting later on. - Automatic Updates: EasyMon can periodically contact the Codessentials server to see if a newer version is available.
It is recommended to choose "Yes". If so, you will be notified and invited to install the new version.
This service will not send any data to Codessentials except for the version number of your current installation. - Done!: this is the last page of the wizard.
It tells you that you can use EasyMon by pressing the Windows key together with the arrow keys.

After installing EasyMon and running through the wizard, EasyMon is ready for use.
By default the hotkey for moving application windows is set to the Windows key combined with the Arrow keys.
From now on we will use [Win] to refere to the Windows key and [ > ], [ < ], [ ^ ] and [ v ] as Arrow keys.
Default hotkey functionality:
| [Win] + [ > ] | Moves the topmost application window to the right side monitor (if any present). |
| [Win] + [ < ] | Moves the topmost application window to the left side monitor (if any present). |
| [Win] + [ ^ ] | Maximizes the topmost application window. |
| [Win] + [ v ] | If the topmost application window is maximized then it will return to the normal state, If the topmost application window is in the normal state then it will be minimized. |

Configuring EasyMon!
After installing EasyMon and running through the wizard, you will notice the EasyMon tray icon in the Windows Taskbar:

Double-click this icon to open the EasyMon Managment screen immediatly or right-click the icon to get the following options:

Options:
- Online Help: Open this help document
- Manage settings: Open the EasyMon Managment screen where you can adjust the settings
- Stop EasyMon: stop the application; you will no longer be able to move your application windows.
When you double click the tray icon or choose "Manage settings" from the tray popup, you will see this screen:

This screen provides access to the Settings section and the Help section.
The Settings section
In the main screen, select the "Change Settings" button.
You will see this screen:

This screen has the following regions:
- Hot key combination
This region shows the currently configured hot key combination.
By default, this is the Windows Key combined with the Arrow keys.
If you want to change this combination, then press the "Change" button on the right and
specify the new desired combination. For example, you can set the combination to:

Then press "Ok" to confirm the new combination.
- Startup options
In this region you can decide
- if you want EasyMon starts if Windows starts (recommended):
By default EasyMon is set to start at Windows startup. If you have multiple users on you computer and you want to run EasyMon for all these users, then select "for all users" in the dropdown list.
Warning: if your operating system is Vista then you will need Administrator priviledges to apply this setting.- if EasyMon should check for updates from time to time (recommended).
EasyMon will not send any personal data to the Codessentials server other than the version number of EasyMon currently installed.
The Help section
In the main screen, select the "Get Help" button.
